A history of the company:
ICAL Systems was founded in December 1993. We were to engineer software products
for the Workflow software industry.
The concept was simple. The founding partners had technical expertise, little capital, low overhead, and
no business track record. Developing business relationships with established firms or startups that had
marketing collateral and needed a crack technical team seemed like a match.

As time progressed these match-ups never materialized, but ICAL did secure a lot of business for site
management of office LANs, accounting software, and office applications. From this business the company
developed considerable skills in network topology, hardware and protocols.
Several key LAN application projects garnered from the site management business carried ICAL back into
the software development business. With a track record and the added networking knowledge, ICAL
successfully developed higher profile accounts for multi-user business applications.
While ICAL was establishing its reputation, the world wide web started its climb to the
stratosphere. Combining our historical skills with a new focus and artistic talent ICAL is now positioned
to capitalize on wide area (WEB) based application development.
The opportunities have never been better for our company. Currently, we conduct business with multi-nationals, government,
and non-profits. We have directed projects in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Switzerland, and
Costa Rica.
