consulting services in North America.

Project Summary

As a service to their clients Optasite would provide tower locations for their wireless communication clients. When
renting these locations they would provide both physical location data and pictures of the site. With over 4000
communications sites nation wide they needed a standardized and automated method of naming and publishing the photos
for each site.
|
|
ICAL was contracted by Optasite to prototype, design, and build a software package that would allow for the use of an
Excel spreadsheet document and digital photos stored either on hard disk or floppy to be read into the computer and be
automatically named with the correct site number, name, location, and photo description.
This application allowed the user to rename hundreds of photos, and store them in a user-defined directory in minutes rather than hours.
