When ICAL was started, the idea of a small, unfunded software company servicing international clients seemed laughable. As a matter of fact, it was an inside joke. The 'I' in ICAL stands for international. We had no realistic expectations of actually working for clients over seas.

Ironically, our first customer was a Swiss national that we met at a party. We developed a product prototype domestically, and went on from there. Within a few years, we had regular clients based in other countries. We still work with our very first account, but we have added a few since then...
