The team of people we work with includes a core ICAL group, and a larger network of people that join us for particular projects. Most of us have been working together for 10 years or more. All of us have multiple disciplines. Many have multiple college degrees or majors. Our philosophy is to satisfy business requirements with the right technology and an artistic flare.
Our Core People
Arthur Couture, managing partner & founder
Arthur is responsible for company strategy, marketing, sales, and finances, but his real passion is system development. - He works directly with customers to help design the best solutions possible. - His specialties include business systems analysis, interface design and systems architecture. - Previously, he worked in finance, software engineering, systems analysis, sales support, project management and business systems development. - When he isn't working, he can be found working on his house, mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, or fixing somebody else's house.

Thomas Rupprecht, managing partner & founder
Tom is responsible for company strategy, marketing, sales, and finances, but he really takes pride in continuing ICAL's relationships with its customer base. He has developed specialties in multi-platform applications and systems administration. - Previous to ICAL, Mr. Rupprecht held a variety of positions in Purchasing, Accounts Payable, MIS and engineering at several firms including Kurzweil Music Systems, Emery Air Freight and Computervision Corporation. - When not fixing technology problems, Tom is a guitarist, a big music fan, and the trivia king.

Richard Neafus, engineering principal
Rick has been delivering solutions with ICAL Systems since 1995. His expertise covers a broad range of business and technical areas. He wears multiple hats, including Project Manager, Business Analyst, Developer, and Systems Integrator. The relationships he maintains with our customers attest to his professionalism. - Outside ICAL, Rick has developed and implemented the Facility Analytics Reporting System, which works in concert with multiple access control systems. - In his spare time he can be seen fixing his house, building systems for his church or flying airplanes.

Danielle Jurdan, lead designer & artist
Danielle is a creative professional with over 15 years experience in graphic design, web design, marketing and communications. She has worked with ICAL to design complex, interactive corporate web sites and graphics. - Her experience spans print and digital marketing campaigns, advertising, custom imagery, digital & print publications, email communications, interactive forms and manuals and web graphics. - She is as comfortable creating in a structured, branded setting as well as designing for free-form concepts and ideas. - Danielle is also an accomplished photographer and a potter.
Our Extended Team
With over 25 years in business ICAL has developed a lot of industry contacts and associates. While we maintain a small core team, we regularly partner with other professionals on individual solutions. Typically, they have worked with us for 10 years or more on different projects.
Most of these people are either independent consultants or working in small firms. We call them when we need more resources, and they call us when they need more resources. These relationships give us the flexibility to remain independent, cost effective and still bid on larger jobs.
We work on projects internationally, but we try to keep our development teams on-shore in the United States. There are many fine developers all over the word, but it's usually just more efficient if a development team is in one region. That said, we are flexible and have also worked with off shore groups at customer request.
